Why We Started
Tropical Sun

We saw the same problem over and over across Florida — beautiful homes and commercial properties with roofs covered in black algae, solar panels quietly losing efficiency, and building facades stained by years of humidity and biological growth.


The existing solutions all had the same problem: they required people to climb on roofs, erect scaffolding, or deploy aerial lifts. That meant liability, damage risk, high costs, and days of disruption for property owners who just wanted their building clean.


We knew drone technology had advanced to the point where it could do the job better. Precise chemical application from above. Even coverage. No foot traffic on your roof or panels. Faster completion. Better results.


So we built a company around that idea — not a traditional cleaning company that added a drone as a marketing tool, but a business built from the ground up around what drone technology actually makes possible. We got FAA certified, invested in the right equipment, developed our soft wash approach, and got to work.
